Interesting phenomenon Reanemus. Not a subject that has appeared on my Radar.
Another video is prompting some to wonder again if Popocatépetl in Mexico acts as a base.

Yes. This is not an isolated event in the mountains around Mexico City. Many UFOs have been photographed hovering above Popocatépetl. The sightings seem unusually frequent there. Here are eight more examples.
One reason why UFOs are frequently recorded over the volcano is because webcams are pointed at the volcano constantly to monitor volcanic activity. Remember Mexico City is located at 19.5 degrees North latitude. Does that fact have anything to do with frequent sightings of UFOs over the volcanoes surrounding the city?

Claims of bases inside volcanoes often circulate online after large eruptions and tremors.
I wonder if there are individuals/ organisations that log the incidence of UFO sightings with seismic activity around the globe?
MUFON and Peter Davenport's National UFO Reporting Center log the incidence of UFO sightings. The United States Geological Survey logs seismic activity. You could cross reference their maps. Many UFO sightings occur near the epicenters of earthquakes.
Are the UFOs sighted near seismic activity earthquake lights? Of course, that does not help since we do not really know what earthquake lights are. The mystery was supposedly solved in 2014.

It begs the question at what level of earthquake prompts an extraterrestrial interest? After a quick search of earthquake magnitudes
1 = Anomaly
2= Incident
3=Serious Incident
4=Incident without off-site risk
5=Incident with off-site risk
6= Serious Incident
7 = Major Incident
8=Extreme Incident
9=Disaster
10=Extreme Disaster
So would extraterrestrial interest step in at Level 5 and above perhaps?
I do not know the answer to those questions. UFO hunter Pat Regan wrote about how extraterrestrial interest in seismic activity is one of many theories about why abnormal lights have been seen in the sky before or during earthquakes.
Pat Regan wrote about how it was believed that extraterrestrials had an interest in the geological area of Colombia's highest volcano which was at Level 3 risk in 2011, which signified changes in volcanic activity then. In order to understand why any extraterrestrials would be interested in the geology of Earth, it may help to view this article by Defector staff writer Patrick Redford about what earthquakes can teach us in the search for extraterrestrial life.
If there is any validity to this type of seismic oversight, it may suggest extraterrestrial entities could have concern for the well being of planet earth.
